  • Sweetheart Tournament February

    PRFT held its second Annual Sweetheart Tournament at Fort Gatlin in Orlando. The event was co-sponsored by One Florida Bank donating a very generous $2,000 to the tournament proceeds.

  • Luis (Andy) Benabe scholarship

    Andy grew up in Puerto Rico and was in the top 3 of his category. Andy had the honor of representing Puerto Rico 5 times at the Zonzls Team Championships in the 14s and 16s divisions. He has trained with tennis professional, Junior Gonzalez, from the age of 16 and is now attending Keizer University in West Palm Beach on a partial tennis scholarship. We hope that Andy has a wonderful time at Keizer and we are proud to have worked with him to accomplish his dreams as a tennis player.

  • Expansion of Recreation Center Program

    Posh Rock Tennis Foundation has partnered with South Orlando YMCA Family Center! Since January 2020 PRTF has been training their athletes once a week. Two pros utilize the indoor gym space to service more than 20 kids free of charge. Athletes currently enjoy Orange Ball drills, games, and doubles play and look forward to Green Dot advancement and singles play

  • USTA Florida Grant – 12/3/19

    PRTF receives a grant from the USTA Florida Section Foundation for its Recreation Center and Tennis is Elementary programs.

  • Special Olympics Orange County Florida

    Posh Rock Tennis Foundation (PRTF) has partnered with Special Olympics Orange County Florida to provided tennis instruction and coaching for all Special Olympic tennis athletes in Orange County. PRTF will also be coaching the athletes in all local, state, and national tournaments. All funding for the training and coaching is provided by grants and private donations secured by PRTF. All participants must be registered with Special Olympics Orange County Florida and can attend the sessions, held at Fort Gatlin in Orlando, at no cost.   • Special Olympics Orange County Florida

    Special Olympics Orange County Florida and Posh Rock Tennis Foundation (PRTF) are excited to announce that PRTF has been selected to direct the tennis program for Special Olympics Orange County Florida.

  • PRTF Annual Meeting

    On November 11, 2019 the Posh Rock Tennis Foundation held its’ Annual Meeting. At the meeting new By-Laws, a 2020 Budget and several new Policy & Procedures were adopted.

    A new slate of Directors was elected

  • Adaptive Learning Program

    An Adaptive Learning program has always been on the radar for PRTF. That dream has now become a reality with the newly formed partnership between Academy for Autism and Posh Rock Tennis Foundation. Academy for Autism began transporting two groups of fifteen students to Ft. Gatlin Tennis Center every Friday on November 1, 2019. PRTF in turn provides over 10 qualified tennis pros to teach
    these uniquely talented athletes.

    Over time, some of these athletes have joined our Special Olympics Florida Orange County group. The hope is to get as many athletes involved in not only Special Olympics practices, but future competitions such as the Area Games.
